The Underground Chef: My name is Mark Kuhlmann and I started the Culinary Underground as a way to share my passion for great food with others. To me, food is about Love and Friendship. If it is a family from Morocco, or a small town in Central Mexico, it makes no difference. Food is about love. I learned to cook from my Mother and my Grandmother in the city where I was born, New Orleans. Everywhere you turn in New Orleans you know that food is much more than just a meal. It is about bringing friends together and making their evening something very special. It is about Hosting a Party and making sure your friends have an experience like no other. It is about being together and sharing an evening of entertainment, food, wine and great joy.
